In June 2025, I was approached by the tech startup Claro.ai to come up with a strategic narrative for their investor pitch deck.

The company has a unique AI product that enriches and unifies data sets, with wide application to e-commerce, B2B, and really any organisation using catalog data. As I saw it, the challenge was twofold:

1) as is the case with many organisations offering complex products, moving away from jargon and talking about it in an effective and resonant language appealing to VCs and other investors.

2) Speaking to its wide applicability while honing in on concrete examples of direct relevance to its target audience.

Working together with my frequent collaborator, the designer Özün Camli (ozuncamli.com), we were able to come up with an effective pitch deck that balances all these concerns and secured the company another round of funding.

Many of the taglines generated for the pitch - including the lead line, "Perfect your data in the blink of AI" - were incorporated into the website created a month later by Ms. Camli.
